There are two main resort areas on Maui. The South Side includes Wailea, Makena, Kihei. The West Side includes Lahaina,

Kaanapali, Honokowai, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua. We are located on the West Side of Maui, facing the Islands of Lanai and Molokai.

All of West Maui is only a short drive apart. It only takes 15 - 20 minutes to drive from Lahaina to Kapalua - it's a very small area.

The MAIN AIRPORT on Maui is located at Kahului. The airport code is OGG. All of West Maui is approximately 40 minutes from OGG.

The south end is about a 30 minute drive. The drive to the West Side is breathtaking - so we hope your flight arrives during the day!

There is also a small airport on the West Side (JHM) providing inter-island service with smaller aircraft. JHM airport is very convenient to

the West Side's condo area (along Lower Honoapiilani Road) - but you cannot hear the air traffic because of the flight pattern.

If you couldn't see it on a map, you wouldn't even know it was there. So no worries about that!

Pohailani 302 is DIRECT OCEANFRONT - NOT OCEANVIEW - and there's a BIG DIFFERENCE.

If you're looking at "oceanview" and "oceanfront" properties - and thinking there's probably not much difference - THINK AGAIN.

Once you stay in a direct oceanfront unit, you will be spoiled for life! This property sits aproximately 10 feet from the ocean's edge.

According to many sources we encountered while purchasing the property - The Pohailani Maui - is actually the closest multi-unit property

to the waterline on the entire Island of Maui. After this property was built, the Hawaiian laws were changed and the 'set-back' was increased. Photos cannot show you how close we really are to the water. There is nothing in front of you to give perspective. But from inside the unit, it feels as if you are floating over the ocean. It is absolute heaven. The sounds of the waves will be something you will never forget.

Our home is located at 4435 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Maui, Hawaii 96761. If you Google this address, we will show up on the

opposite side of the road. That's where the manager's office is, as well as the mailboxes! So Google shows our property on the

WRONG SIDE of the street - and as you might imagine - we're not too happy about that. There are only a few units next to the ocean,

and we are one of them. Sorry Google .... but we're as close to the water as you're ever going to get!

Pohailani is a very quiet, romantic, peaceful place. If you're looking for "hoppin" or "rockin" ... you're on the wrong Island. (try Oahu)

Maui is known for it's beauty, and serenity. It is a Honeymooner's delight ~ and a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with the one

you love. Our home is a very special place. You will have your own little piece of paradise staying in Pohailani 302.

We are on the 3rd floor of a small 3-story building. We have 10-12 foot vaulted ceilings, and a 12-foot sliding door across the back.

From inside the unit, all you can see are the Islands of Lanai and Molokai, and the Ocean. The view here is absolutely amazing.

If you've never been to Maui before, it can be a bit overwhelming. You'll find many types of accommodations on Maui, and many are quite pricey. Most of the large, high-end resorts charge somewhere between $350.00 and $650.00 per night for an oceanfront room. No doubt -

they are really lovely places - but that's not affordable for everyone. Our rates run from $119.00 - $139.00 per night. Now that's affordable!

Trust us - no matter how much you pay, or where you stay - it will NOT be as close to the water as this property. Not even close. ;-)

We have owned our home for several years, and we continue to offer really fun oceanfront accommodations at a very affordable price.

Our pricing is quite reasonable - and our pricing is firm - unless otherwise advertised on this website. Our only discounts are for stays
